Tessa and McKenna are quite a team

Tessa says " Not sure whether I should laugh or be concerned? McKenna just took himself out for a potty break. Literally pushed all the elevator and door buttons, swiped the fob and even better hurried all on his own.

Hi June

So great to see all those sweet new puppies on your site. Good thing you retired or you would never get any rest ,between work and puppies. Ellie and I are doing great! I always have to plan an extra 1/2 hour  or more when we go out in public because I get stopped so often so people can admire Ellie. The other day we went to Walmart to shop and a lady came up to us and said "Your Lab is the best lab I have ever seen as a Service Dog and I have bred them for many years, where did she come from" of course I told her about Windara, I was so proud of having both Ellie and you to talk about and how you have helped to make my life to be so much easier to live! I hope more little wiggly tiny babies will grow up into Hero Dogs just like the first three dogs you donated to West Coast Team  three years ago, Kenna,, Journey and of course my best friend my Hero Dog, Ellie!

WATCH FOR THE GRADUATION OF ELLIE, JOURNEY AND KENNA

Hi my name is Beverley and I am the proud Mom of one of your puppies, Ellie, whom you very generously donated to West Coast Teams. I can not ever thank you enough for this wonderful little girl- she means everything to me! You see I have multiple sclerosis and a brain tumour. At night I often have choking spells and I can't breathe. Ellie stands over me and helps me to a sitting position and she helps me to calm me down in the darkness while the spasm relaxes and I can start to breath again. She has also got so used to these attacks that she notices them just before they happen and will wake me up first, so I don't wake from a sound sleep and start to panic on top of trying to breathe. She has learned to retrieve the phone for me, will pick up dropped items - my keys, wallet, coins, credit cards, mail etc. She retrieves her dish to be fed and her leash to go out. Ellie tugs a rope to help me sit up in bed and she takes my socks off and helps me take my jacket off. I sometimes fall down and can not get up on my own, so Ellie stands in front of me and braces and I use her like a bench to get back up off the ground. Ellie closes my door for me and waits for me to lock it, and she pushes buttons to open doors. She faithfully marches along beside my wheelchair wherever we venture. She is much more to me than an assistance dog you see... she is my Hero dog and you were the very first step in making this happen, so Thanks again for my Hero dog - Ellie !

Hi June:
Sorry I haven't written. I forget sometimes because now we mainly do everything through our organizations facebook that not everyone sees that.
So I thought I'd send some shots from puppy class last night. You haven't seen these guys in a little while. By the way the pups look beautiful. I love the picture of the one right in the bowl. Priceless.
Take care,
Sharon
